Scheduled for 16-18 November 2021, “Masterminds, Masterclasses” was the second chapter of the prelude to the inaugural Hong Kong Laureate Forum (the Forum). It comprised (1) Hybrid Seminar with world-renowned scientists as speakers, including Shaw Laureates, recipients of Breakthrough Prize, CNRS Gold Medal, Fields Medal and Royal Medal, in three disciplines of science, namely Life Science and Medicine, Astronomy and Mathematical Sciences, as well as (2) Dialogue with Scientists, in which a small number of selected participants would have invaluable opportunity to converse directly with world-renowned scientists.
